BALMY WEATHER CONTINUES...

I am a little pressed for time today, but hope this eases your hopes. There is NO snow coming Tuesday. We are on the warm side of the storm and will see 60's and rain/thunderstorms. No snow, not even on the back side. We just don't get backlash snows from inland runners because in order to get the snow we would have to have it survive the trip over the mountains, which is unlikely. So no snow is coming, just springlike air.

All the snow will be confined to Kentucky, West Virginia and Cleveland and Upstate New York. Foot plus of windwhipped heavy wet snow there.

Sorry SNE guys. Better luck next storm and as Ray would say....NEXTT!!!!

Completely disagree regarding Tuesday...you are MUCH too warm.

I also think we could easily see some snow on the backside, no a lot, but some. I'll be updating shortly.

GFS and NAM are really starting to come into great agreement.

Joel...with an inland cutter...there is NO WAY that areas south of Nashua, NH see anything more than a passing flake of snow in the 50 mph winds.

RI and SE MA certainly will NOT see any snow out of this one with the track advertised by both the NAM and GFS...just not gonna happen.

Its an all rain situation...there will probably be a front that NW, you have more heavy duty rains with temps lower 40's...probably NW MA, SW NH...

Then to the ESE of that you will have more showery heavy rains with 50's and may see 60-62 on the South Coast and Cape.

Tuesday night temperatures will CRASH so we may need to watch for a "flash freeze?" of all the standing water.

Northern New England may see some snow...2-4" valleys...to 4-8" mountains.

Western New York state may see the jackpot...I would say anywhere between 8-12" with the actual storm and then another 6-12" with LES in favorite areas...

Ray...you've been quiet this whole time...
